STAGE 1 SEDIMENT FILTER
For Mechanical Filtration. Protects and extends the life of the carbon filter. Removes sediment particles - grit, dust, rust, mud algae etc. 1 micron superfine polypropylene cartridge

STAGE 1 ROYAL DOULTON CERAMIC PRE FILTRATION
Mechanically filters while providing the safest water possible - Ceramic elements may be cleaned 100 or more times with a soft brush or 3M 'Scotchbrite' This filter protects and extends the life of the carbon filter. STAGE 2 CARBON FILTER
The work horse is a special high grade carbon cartridge which has excellent adsorption qualities specially designed to remove chemicals: Chlorine, chloroform, ammonia, pesticides, herbicides, lead, copper, arsenic, mercury as well as parasites – giardia and cryptosporidium (Sydney’s drinking water problem) see cartridge report for more detail results of this amazing AC490 cartridge.
